Gerber Crisis Hook Knife TAN499 - Emergency Hook Knife
Designed for emergency situations, the featherweight Gerber Crisis Hook Knife serves a variety of purposes. Use the hook knife to quickly and safely cut through clothing, seatbelts, cords or ropes, making the job of first responders massively easier without injuring the person being rescued. The end of the handle is equipped with a glass breaker, this allows the rescuer to remove any glass obstacles out of the way in the shortest possible time.
The long handle of the Gerber Crisis Hook Knife is covered with a rubberized layer, so that the user has the necessary grip in any situation and can react immediately. An integrated O2 wrench for opening or closing the valve on an oxygen cylinder further enhances the utility of this knife in life-saving situations.
When not in use, the rescue knife rests in a plastic sheath and is easily accessible by a friction lock. The plastic sheath can be attached to a ballistic vest, backpack or MOLLE equipped structure.
