With the movesso M3 mobile coffee maker, you can prepare a fine barista espresso in no time at all. The best result is achieved with freshly ground beans, for which we offer a high-quality hand grinder from Timemore below in the accessories. Otherwise, the coffee machine can be equipped with standard aluminium capsules. The mobile movesso M3 coffee machine with heating function is operated with an integrated 7800 mAh battery, which enables the preparation of 4-5 cups of fresh espresso. A higher number can be achieved by filling the coffee machine with already hot water. The battery of the movesso M3 coffee machine can be recharged with the help of a power bank; a corresponding USB Type-C cable is included.
The mobile movesso M3 coffee maker is handy with a diameter of around 7 cm and a height of 20 cm, yet it is a real powerhouse. Up to 80 ml of water is heated to 96°C within 3-4 minutes and brewed with a pump pressure of approx. 20 bar. The movesso M3 is operated with just one button on the side of the machine. On the opposite side, a USB Type-C charging port is hidden behind a rubber cap that protects the port from splashing water. The inside of the movesso M3 is made of 18/8 stainless steel, a double-walled construction provides good heat insulation.
5 LEDs below the button show the status of the battery after a click, each lit LED stands for approx. 25% battery charge. The LEDs also show the status of the charging and heating process, as well as the extraction.
The movesso M3 mobile espresso machine is suitable for camping, travelling, in the car, hiking, on city trips or simply for a delicious coffee at home or at work. The included carrying bag holds not only the machine but also other accessories such as cups, hand grinder, capsules, etc.
We have used the outdoor coffee maker movesso M3 and can share the following experiences.
TIP 1: It is helpful to familiarise yourself with the operation and the individual parts of the machine before the first serious use. With ground coffee, the quantity, the degree of grinding and the contact pressure are decisive for the best result, so it is worth practising a few times.
TIP 2: Use already hot water for preparation, this protects the battery and extends the battery life, which allows more coffee to be dispensed.
TIP 3: By adding more hot water during the brewing process, a lungo coffee of approx. 120 ml can also be prepared.
TIP 4: A second coffee powder insert can be used to speed up preparation for several cups. Another powder insert can be purchased as an accessory.
CAUTION: When using above approx. 2200 m a.s.l., do not use more than 60 ml of water, otherwise this may lift the lid and water may spill over.
