The new 4G photo trap icucam 5 is ready to use right out of the box. Everything needed to operate the icucam 5 throughout Europe is included. The icucam 5 is equipped with a fast iCATCH V33 chip, the latest chip generation with 480 MHz now also enables integrated image correction during recording, resulting in faster and sharper recording.
Watch and control from your mobile phone
With the innovative icuapp, you can view your photos and videos directly on your smartphone. If one of your cameras triggers, you will be notified directly, allowing you to follow what is happening in near real time. With the icuapp, you won't miss a thing. Already in the morning when you get up, you can see with one click what happened in the forest or in the field during the night.
Thanks to the innovative image recognition, the app immediately indicates what can be seen in the photo. This makes it easy to sort the photos.
Illuminating a wide area
The icucam 5's infrared flash reaches up to 40 metres, which, together with the longer exposure time, makes it possible to take photos at greater distances.
Sharp detail shots
For smaller places it is not necessary to use the full flash output. For short distances, a short flash and a low shutter speed are sufficient to take super sharp pictures.

Other photo traps with network reception are rather difficult to set up, but not so with the icucam5 4G photo trap. Just unpack and go - as the photo trap is supplied pre-configured with a built-in eSIM card, there is no need for tedious basic configuration. The new eSIM solution offers greater stability and better transmission performance.

55 degree lens
The icucam 5 4G game camera is equipped with a 55° lens, which is ideal for hunting or for direct object surveillance. Protected by a robust, waterproof housing, the icucam 5 photo trap can be used very flexibly.
0.3 seconds triggering time
With a reaction time of just 0.3 seconds, empty images caused by too late triggering are definitely a thing of the past.
Areas of application for the icucam 4G / LTE photo trap
Ideal for use in wooded areas, vineyards, holiday homes, buildings open to the public, on farms and anywhere where there is no WLAN connection or temperatures do not permit operation. The icucam 5 can be used wherever a mobile 2G/3G or 4G network is available.
Image transmission to the cloud
With the eSIM already installed, you can operate the icucam 5 game camera anywhere in Europe. The photos are uploaded to the icuServer cloud directly after being saved to the SD card and you are notified immediately via the mobile phone app.
Now with video transmission
Recorded videos can be requested directly via icuapp and viewed directly on your smartphone. After a video has been requested, it is transferred in the background from the icuapp to the smartphone and is available for viewing after a short time.
COIN system - cost transparency - transfers for approx. 1 year already included
The transfer of data and the icuServer cloud service are charged per image. A cost-transparent COIN system is used. With the purchase of the icucam 5 camera you already receive 4000 COINs and can therefore test the benefits of the convenient notification and viewing via mobile phone app. With an average consumption of 11 photos per day, the 4000 COINs are enough for a whole year.

PIR sensor
The icucam5 is equipped with a highly sensitive passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor. This detects any movement in the monitored area at lightning speed. When motion is detected, the digital camera unit triggers immediately and automatically takes photos or videos according to the previously programmed settings.
Infrared LEDs
The icucam 4G photo trap is equipped with 52 infrared LEDs (940nm), which cover a maximum distance of 40 metres and work at lightning speed, so that clear photos or videos (in black and white) are recorded even in the dark. In sufficient light conditions, colour photos and videos are recorded. The flash is invisible to humans and animals.
Large screen
The icucam 5 is equipped with a 2.4 inch screen for better usability.
Illuminated buttons
Whether in the early hours of the morning or deep in the night, the icucam 5 can be operated comfortably even in the dark thanks to illuminated buttons.
Flexible power supply
The icucam 5 LTE photo trap is powered by either 8 AA batteries or three 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Thanks to an intelligent control system, it does not matter whether alkaline batteries, lithium AA batteries, NiMH batteries or even the 18650 LiIon batteries are used. At low temperatures, it is advisable to equip the icucam 5 with 18650 LiIon batteries or AA lithium batteries, as these are less susceptible to the cold. The icucam5 can also be powered from an external power source.
Housing
The housing of the icucam 4G game camera is IP66 waterproof and robust against any external influences. The camera can be opened by means of a quick-release fastener, and the display and all control buttons are located inside. On the back of the housing there are lugs for the supplied webbing, as well as cable lock eyelets and a tripod thread for optional accessories.
