ED glass (Extra-low Dispersion) is used in most series, reducing chromatic aberration for colour-accurate, high-contrast images. BaK4 prisms and full multi-coating on all lens surfaces are standard. The instruments are nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fog-proof – ready for real-world field conditions.
Admiral’s binocular programme covers a broad spectrum: The Bernina II series is the flagship with Japanese manufacturing, ED glass and outstanding close focus capability. The Kranich ED series impresses with an exceptionally wide field of view, while the Pelikan ED III features an elegant open-bridge design with excellent handling. The Profield III spotting scopes are now in their third generation – with 60 mm and 80 mm objectives, 20–60x zoom and precise dual focus for coarse and fine adjustment. In rangefinding, the Range Pro 1000 uses Time-of-Flight technology with an integrated gyroscope chip and inclination compensation – designed for hunting use. The riflescope range rounds out the programme as a reliable option for hunting applications.
Admiral consistently uses robust materials: aluminium die-cast housings with rubber armouring provide grip and shock protection. All optics are nitrogen-filled for reliable fog protection and are waterproof. Full multi-coating maximises light transmission, while BaK4 prisms deliver bright, edge-to-edge sharp images.
