On all Bresser products

Bresser is one of Europe’s leading optics brands. Since its founding in 1957 by Josef Bresser in Rhede, Westphalia, the family-run company has been developing and distributing high-quality optical instruments – from binoculars and spotting scopes through telescopes and microscopes to weather stations and outdoor electronics. What began as an importer of Japanese binoculars is now an internationally active company with over 100 employees at its Rhede headquarters and offices in the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States. At Swiss-Sale.ch you will find a wide selection of Bresser binoculars, spotting scopes and tripods for outdoor, hunting and nature observation.

Binoculars – from Pirsch ED to Hunter

Bresser’s binocular range covers every application. The Pirsch ED series with ED special glass delivers colour-true, high-contrast images for discerning nature observers and hunters. The classic Pirsch line offers solid performance at a fair price, while the Condor series provides a reliable entry point into nature observation. For travel, the compact Hunter pocket binoculars impress with low weight and rugged construction. All Bresser binoculars are nitrogen-filled and waterproof – ready for any conditions.

Tradition · since 1957
From binocular importer to international optics group

Bresser’s story begins in 1957 with the import of high-quality Japanese binoculars. After the founder’s death, son Rolf Bresser assumes leadership in 1979 and expands the company internationally. In 2009 Bresser becomes independent from the Meade group and returns to its roots as an owner-managed enterprise. Today the Bresser group encompasses brands such as Explore Scientific, National Geographic and Lunt Solar Systems – serving customers from beginners to professionals with its own optical laboratory and in-house observatory in Rhede.

Spotting scopes – Pirsch Gen. II for maximum detail

Bresser’s Pirsch Gen. II spotting scopes set benchmarks in their price class. The DeLuxe 10:1 fine-focus mechanism enables precise focusing even at the highest magnification – ideal for birdwatching, hunting and range use. The fully multi-coated optics deliver bright, sharp images even in challenging light conditions. All spotting scopes are nitrogen-filled and waterproof to IPX6, ensuring reliable performance in rain and fog.

Telescopes & astronomy – a view into the universe

From the Messier series for beginners to the 20-inch Dobsonian telescope for ambitious amateur astronomers, Bresser offers a comprehensive range of astronomical instruments. The Wi-Fi-controlled iEXOS mounts make computer-assisted GoTo tracking accessible even to newcomers. The programme is complemented by premium eyepieces, filters and mounts from Explore Scientific and solar telescopes from Lunt Solar Systems.

Tripods & accessories – a stable base for every optic

Bresser provides professional tripod solutions for spotting scopes, cameras and binoculars. The carbon tripod BR-2504X8C-B1 combines low weight with high load capacity, while the Traveler tripod TR-672AN serves as a compact travel companion. Wi-Fi eyepiece cameras enable digital image capture directly via smartphone – ideal for digiscoping and field documentation.
