NaDCC – the gold standard in water disinfection
Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) releases hypochlorous acid (HOCl) upon dissolution – a disinfectant approximately 100 times more effective than other chlorine compounds. Unlike conventional chlorine tablets, NaDCC is more stable, safer to handle and requires no protective equipment. The tablets are manufactured to pharmaceutical standards and EU GMP guidelines.
Simple application – one tablet, one litre
Drop one Aquatabs tablet into 1 litre of clear water. The effervescent tablet dissolves in under 3 minutes. After 30 minutes the water is ready to drink. For cold or turbid water, double the dose (2 tablets per litre) and wait 60 minutes. Filter turbid water through a clean cloth beforehand.
