Katadyn Vario Filter
If you are outdoors, you will encounter new water conditions every day. Sometimes it's clear, sometimes it's cloudy, sometimes it smells like chemicals; that's where a water filter with different modes comes in handy.
The Katadyn Vario combines individual performance with the simplest handling. The technology used consists of three filter stages: a high-performance glass fiber filter, a ceramic prefilter that can be used individually according to water turbidity, and activated carbon for odor elimination. Those who want up to two liters of drinking water per minute use the glass fiber and activated carbon filter. In case of high water turbidity, the ceramic pre-filter is additionally switched upstream with a simple hand movement in order to increase the service life of the glass fiber filter. The Katadyn Vario can be used with most common outdoor bottles and hydration packs, and a dual pump mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. Replacement filter elements are available individually (ceramic disc, fiberglass filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granules).
