The Nordisk Oppland 3 LW is aimed at those who travel light and are looking for a lightweight tent without sacrificing comfort. The extremely versatile and ultra-light tent, weighing less than 2 kg, impresses with its small pack size and spacious living area.
Thanks to the aerodynamic design, the Oppland 3 LW offers high wind stability. The assembly and disassembly of the tunnel construction, which can be opened on the outside, is easy and quick to master. There are ventilation windows at both ends, which ensure an excellent indoor climate.
The Oppland 3 LW offers plenty of space for three people including equipment. Much additional space is offered by the generous awning, ideal for cooking or storage. With the optional footprint, the awning can be used as an extended living area.
The Nordisk Oppland 3 LW is made of a special rip-stop 10D nylon fabric with silicone coating. Unlike the polyurethane (PU) coating, which is applied to the surface of the fabric, the lighter silicone (SI) coating penetrates the fabric. The SI coating increases the strength of the fabric and is much more elastic than a PU coating, making the material more resistant to tearing. Another advantage of the SI coating is that water cannot penetrate the fabric. The material can be shaken briefly when damp, so virtually all moisture can be shaken off. In a few minutes in the wind or sunshine and the entire tent is dry.
The Nordisk Oppland 3 LW comes with modern, robust DAC poles, with aluminum Triple Twister pegs and 2 mm Dyneema guy lines with triangle slider.
