Magnesium housing & IP68 – next-level durability
While most reflex sights rely on aluminium, the Ultra Shot M-Spec LQD uses a magnesium alloy housing. At comparable strength, magnesium is significantly lighter than aluminium and absorbs vibrations more efficiently – a decisive advantage when handling the recoil of heavy calibres up to .50 BMG. Combined with IP68 certification guaranteeing waterproof protection to 12 m depth and shock resistance from drops of 2.4 m, the result is a reflex sight that performs reliably under the most extreme conditions.
65 MOA circle-dot crosshair – speed meets precision
The circle-dot crosshair reticle combines a 60 MOA circle with 5 MOA subtension marks and a 2 MOA centre dot. The outer circle instinctively guides the eye to the aiming point for lightning-fast target acquisition at close range, while the fine centre dot enables precise shots at medium distances. The 5 MOA subtension marks provide additional reference points for lead and range estimation. With 10 manual brightness levels and 6 night vision levels (NV 1–6), the reticle adapts to any lighting condition – from bright sunlight to use with night vision devices.
Motion sensing – automatic on/off activation via motion detection
The built-in motion sensing technology detects when the firearm is moved and automatically activates the sight. When the firearm is set down or remains stationary for an extended period, the reticle deactivates automatically, conserving battery life. This feature is particularly valuable during stationary hunting, at the range or in tactical operations where the sight must remain mission-ready for hours without unnecessarily draining the CR123A battery. An additional 12-hour auto shut-off provides a further safeguard against accidental discharge.
Patented sunshade & LQD mount – thoughtful design details
The integrated sunshade (US Patent 10139197B1) is built directly into the housing and can be deployed when needed. It reduces glare and lens reflections from low sun angles or direct sunlight without requiring a separate attachment. The LQD (Locking Quick-Detach) mount enables tool-free attachment and removal on any Picatinny rail with a single motion – while maintaining reliable return to zero. The package is complemented by the included protective aluminium shield that guards the lens against spalling and impact.
Compatible with the Sightmark XT-3 Tactical Magnifier
The Ultra Shot M-Spec LQD is fully compatible with the Sightmark XT-3 Tactical Magnifier (SM19062). In combination, the 1x reflex sight becomes a magnified system for medium distances without requiring the shooter to swap optics. The XT-3 mounts behind the reflex sight on the Picatinny rail and can be flipped to the side when not needed. Ideal for shooters operating at both close and medium ranges.
