Tactical pens are writing instruments designed for tough use. In daily life they function as premium ballpoint pens; in an emergency as a glass breaker or self-defence tool.
Nitecore offers two models: the NTP30 in solid titanium is ultralight and extremely durable. The NTP31 in aluminium offers the same tactical design at a lower price.
The premium tactical pen: solid titanium (Grade 5) with tungsten carbide glass breaker and Fisher Space Pen-compatible refills.
The budget-friendly alternative: same tactical design in anodised aluminium. Robust, lightweight with integrated glass breaker.
Tactical pens are legal in Switzerland and may be carried – they are classified as writing instruments. The glass breaker is designed for emergencies (e.g. breaking a car window in an accident).
