On warm summer nights, the Jungle Blanket can certainly serve as a lightweight sleeping bag replacement. For temperatures below +10 °C, however, we recommend a proper sleeping bag – the blanket then makes an excellent additional insulation layer.
The standard Jungle Blanket measures approx. 190×120 cm and is suitable as a travel blanket or sleeping blanket for one person. The XL version (approx. 220×150 cm) offers more coverage and can also be used as a day blanket or picnic blanket.
When sleeping in a hammock, the insulation on the underside is compressed by body weight. The Under Blanket attaches beneath the hammock and creates an insulating air layer that keeps cold from below at bay.
Merino wool is naturally hypoallergenic and is well tolerated by most people with sensitive skin. The WellhealthBlanket Wool is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers, provided there is no specific wool allergy.
Snugpak recommends machine washing at 30 °C with liquid detergent. Dry the blanket in the air or in a tumble dryer on low heat until the Travelsoft filling has fully lofted.
