The BCB FireDragon Mini Stove MK2 is a folding stainless steel Outdoor stove for solid and gel fuels: FireDragon tablets, hexamine (Esbit), dry spirit and gel fuel. Measuring 7 × 5 × 4 cm and weighing just 40 g, it fits in any trouser pocket, first-aid kit or survival kit. Unfolded, the side wings act as windshield and pot stand for mugs and small pots up to about 700 ml; one FireDragon tablet brings around 500 ml of water to the boil in 8–10 minutes. The built-in compartment holds two tablets – but the stove is supplied without fuel, so you order the tablets separately. The MK2 is the revised version of the BCB classic with a sturdier build and cleaner finish.

One tablet brings about 500 ml of water to the boil in 8–10 minutes; for a full meal of pasta, rice or trekking food, allow two tablets. Alternatively, the stove burns hexamine (Esbit), dry spirit or gel fuel. Petrol, diesel and other liquid fuels with a low flash point are not suitable – the open design rules them out.
