The handle of the carving knife is made of ash wood, finished by hand and oiled with natural linseed oil. The blade of the C4m carving knife from BeaverCraft is made of special high-carbon steel, hardened and carefully ground. As this steel is not 100% rustproof, it is recommended to treat the blade with a drop of oil every now and then. The BeaverCraft C4m is suitable for both right- and left-handers.
