The Camillus CenterFire 30-30 folding knife has an overall length of 17.1 cm and is equipped with a black 6.9 cm drop point blade with hollow grind. The Camillus CenterFire 30-30 uses Japanese AUS-8 knife steel, the steel is hardened by the Carbon Nitride Titanium Bonded process, which makes the steel up to 10x harder than untreated steel. This makes the Camillus CenterFire resistant to corrosion and rust.

The blade with liner lock can be opened by thumb pins on both sides or a flipper, which also serves as a finger guard when open.

The ergonomic handle made of black roughened G-10 panels with finger recess, catch strap eyelet and thumb rest (jimping) has a 30-30 cartridge base incorporated on one side and a sturdy stainless steel belt clip on the other.
