The KOWA BD III XD 10x50 Binoculars is one of the two new 50 mm models with which Kowa extends the BD III XD series upwards. They are built for observation in difficult light and deliver a noticeably brighter image at dawn and dusk than the 42 mm versions. Thanks to Kowa’s optical design they stay remarkably compact. The proven optical system of the series – XD lenses from fluorite-rich ED glass, KR protective coating and a magnesium chassis – carries over unchanged.

Kowa’s XD lenses from fluorite-rich ED glass minimise dispersion and thereby preserve contrast and resolution exactly when both become scarce. 50 mm light-gathering, 160 mm long – more compact than expected
