The integrated 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery charges via USB-C, while the detachable ceramic breaker tip at the tail serves as an emergency tool. The EDC17 packs three completely different light sources into one body: the UHi 25 LED delivers up to 1,500 lumens for illumination and search. The UV module at 365 nm (220–1,350 mW) is purpose-built for fluorescence inspection, document verification and trace evidence detection. The Class 3R green laser (<5 mW) enables precise pointing over long distances – ideal for presentations, construction sites and rescue operations.

Ceramic breaker and stainless steel clip – emergency tool in pocket format
