Nordisk Oppland 3 SI - lightweight, spacious and durable 3-person tent.
The Nordisk Oppland 3 SI is aimed at those who are looking for a lightweight tent without sacrificing comfort. Thanks to its aerodynamic design, the Oppland 3 SI offers tremendous wind stability. The erection and dismantling of the tunnel construction, which can be opened on the outside, is easy and quick to master. There are ventilation slits at both ends, which provide an excellent indoor climate.
The Oppland 3 SI offers plenty of space for three people including equipment. Much additional space is offered by the generous awning, ideal for cooking or storage. With the optional footprint, the awning can be used as an extended living area.
The Nordisk Oppland 3 SI is made of a strong nylon rip-stop fabric with silicone coating. Unlike the polyurethane (PU) coating, which is applied to the surface of the fabric, the lighter silicone (SI) coating penetrates the fabric. The SI coating increases the strength of the fabric and is much more elastic than a PU coating, making the material more resistant to tearing. Another advantage of the SI coating is that water cannot penetrate the fabric. The material can be shaken briefly when damp, so virtually all moisture can be shaken off. In a few minutes in the wind or sunshine and the entire tent is dry.
The Nordisk Oppland 3 SI comes with modern, robust DAC poles, with aluminum Y-pegs and 2.5 mm nylon guy lines with aluminum tensioners.
