The Dri-Sak is a waterproof stuff sack that protects contents from moisture. The compression sack reduces the volume of sleeping bags or clothing through compression straps. For optimal protection you can combine both.
The Pakboxes are water-resistant but not fully waterproof. For waterproof protection we recommend additionally using a Dri-Sak or BCB zip-lock bags for sensitive items.
Depending on the contents a compression sack reduces volume by 30 to 50 per cent. The savings are especially significant with sleeping bags and down products – freeing up valuable space in your backpack.
