4-in-1 Multispectral System – maximum light with F/0.95

The Pixfra Draco D335N-4K combines four professional observation systems in a single binocular: a 384×288 thermal sensor (≤15 mK NETD) with high-speed F/0.95 optics (35 mm, detection range 1,800 m), a 4K UHD day camera (3,840×2,160, 55 mm, F/2.0) with electronic image stabilisation and 5.5× magnification, a Class 1 laser rangefinder (up to 1,000 m, ±1 m accuracy), and a removable 940 nm IR illuminator with 350 m range. PIPS 3.0, GPS, compass, dual-band Wi-Fi and 64 GB internal storage complete this premium binocular.

Pixfra · Thermal · F/0.95

Thermal 384×288 with F/0.95 and PIPS 3.0

The vanadium oxide sensor 384×288 with 12 μm pixel pitch and high-speed F/0.95 optics (35 mm) achieves a thermal sensitivity of ≤15 mK – one of the best values for uncooled detectors. The F/0.95 aperture collects approximately 10 % more infrared radiation than an F/1.0 lens, delivering even sharper thermal images under challenging conditions. The proprietary PIPS 3.0 system with AI-assisted image calibration ensures consistent, artefact-free image quality.

4K UHD Day Camera with EIS – for day, dusk and night

The integrated 4K UHD camera (3,840×2,160, 55 mm, F/2.0) provides 5.5× magnification (up to 44× with digital zoom), with a field of view of 8.0°×4.5°. Electronic image stabilisation (EIS) compensates for shake and movement for stable observation. The integrated dehazing function enhances the image in haze and fog. Five image modes (colour, black & white, green, yellow, auto) combined with the 940 nm IR illuminator (up to 350 m) enable effective night observation without visible light.

IP67, GPS, Wi-Fi & Removable Battery – for any mission

With IP67 certification, the Draco D335N-4K is fully dust- and impact-proof and withstands temporary submersion to 1 m depth. The operating temperature range of −30 °C to +55 °C covers every climate zone. GPS and compass deliver position data directly on the device. Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) enables stable video streaming and remote control via the Pixfra Outdoor app. The removable 18650 battery guarantees at least 8 hours of runtime (Wi-Fi off, 25 °C) and can be swapped in the field. With 64 GB of internal storage, ample capacity is available for hours of 4K video recording.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions – Pixfra Draco D335N-4K

Find answers about the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K – from the 384×288 thermal sensor, PiPS 3.0, LRF and 940 nm IR illuminator to battery life and Swiss shipping.

What sensor resolution does the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K have?
The Draco D335N-4K uses an uncooled VOx microbolometer with 384×288 pixels at 12 µm pixel pitch and a 35 mm F0.95 lens. NETD is ≤15 mK, detection range 1,800 m. A 4K CMOS camera (3840×2160) with a 55 mm F2.0 lens is also integrated. Eight colour palettes are available.
What does “4-in-1” mean for the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K?
The Draco D335N-4K combines four systems in one housing: thermal imager (8–14 µm), 4K daylight camera, 940 nm IR illuminator and laser rangefinder. These can be used individually or combined via PiPS 3.0 as a picture-in-picture overlay.
How does PiPS 3.0 work on the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K?
PiPS 3.0 overlays the thermal image as a window within the 4K digital image or vice versa. You see heat distribution and detailed colour imagery simultaneously on the OLED display (1920×1080). EIS (electronic image stabilisation) keeps the view steady during handheld use.
How accurate is the laser rangefinder of the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K?
The LRF of the Draco D335N-4K measures distances up to 1,000 m with ±1 m accuracy. GPS and a digital compass complement the LRF – distance, coordinates and bearing are all available simultaneously.
How does the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K differ from the D225N-4K and D635N-4K?
The main difference is the thermal sensor: D225N-4K has 256×192 with 25 mm F0.9 (≤18 mK), D335N-4K offers 384×288 with 35 mm F0.95 (≤15 mK), D635N-4K leads with 640×512 and 35 mm F1.0 (≤15 mK). The D335N-4K is the optimal balance between field of view and detail resolution. The 4K camera, LRF and all other features are identical.
How long does the battery of the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K last?
With two 18650 Li-Ion batteries, the Draco D335N-4K achieves ≥9 hours runtime (at 25 °C, Wi-Fi off). The batteries are user-replaceable without tools; the package includes four batteries. Charging via dock or USB-C.
How waterproof and rugged is the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K?
The Draco D335N-4K is IP67 rated: completely dust-tight and submersible to 1 m for 30 minutes. Magnesium-alloy housing, ≤620 g, operating range −30 °C to +55 °C.
What does the “N” in Pixfra Draco D335N-4K stand for?
The “N” refers to the 940 nm IR illuminator (instead of 850 nm). 940 nm is virtually invisible to the human eye – no red glow. Range 350–400 m, ideal for covert wildlife observation.
Does the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K work with a smartphone app?
Yes. Via dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) the Draco D335N-4K pairs with the free “Pixfra Outdoor” app (iOS & Android). Live streaming, file transfer and device settings supported. 64 GB internal storage; USB-C for data transfer.
What warranty does the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K carry?
Pixfra provides a 3-year manufacturer warranty. In Switzerland the statutory 2-year warranty applies in addition. At Swiss-Sale.ch warranty claims are handled directly in Switzerland.
Why buy the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K from Swiss-Sale.ch?
Swiss-Sale.ch is an official Swiss retailer for Pixfra. Fast shipping within Switzerland with no customs, local warranty handling and personal advice. Orders before 17:00 typically dispatched the same business day.
Is the laser rangefinder of the Pixfra Draco D335N-4K eye-safe?
Yes. The LRF is classified Class 1 according to IEC 60825-1:2014 – the safest laser classification, fully eye-safe under normal use. Never deliberately point the laser at the eyes of people or animals.
