The 25 mm F1.0 germanium lens delivers 1.65× optical magnification and detects human-sized targets at up to 1,300 m. A high-resolution 0.32-inch OLED display (800×600) renders crisp imagery through six selectable colour palettes. Built-in WiFi enables real-time streaming to up to four smartphones simultaneously via the Pixfra Outdoor app. PIPS 2.0 image processing, electronic compass, hot-spot tracking and 16 GB internal storage complete the feature set – all in a pocket-sized body weighing less than 320 g.
PIPS 2.0 Image Processing
Superior thermal clarity – beyond conventional image processing
Pixfra’s proprietary PIPS 2.0 (Pixfra Image Processing System) combines advanced algorithms with the cohesive lens-sensor design to deliver thermal images that surpass conventional standards. Fine detail enhancement, adaptive contrast and noise reduction work in real time at 50 Hz, producing a smooth, high-contrast thermal picture even in challenging conditions such as fog, rain or complete darkness.
WiFi streaming & electronic compass
Connect up to four devices simultaneously via built-in WiFi and stream the live thermal image to the Pixfra Outdoor app (iOS & Android). The integrated electronic compass accurately captures orientation information, providing precise navigation and positioning data directly in the viewfinder overlay. Combined with the hot-spot trace function, which automatically highlights the warmest point in the scene, the Mile 2 M625 becomes a powerful tool for search & rescue, wildlife observation and property inspection.
Red-Dot-winning ergonomics & IP67 durability
The Mile 2’s Red-Dot-award-winning design features a hidden power switch, non-slip silicone texture and an innovation button layout optimised for flawless blind operation in total darkness. IP67 dust and waterproofing ensures reliable function in rain, snow and dusty environments. The operating temperature range spans −30 °C to +55 °C, covering arctic, alpine and desert conditions. A rechargeable 3,200 mAh lithium battery provides over 6.5 hours of continuous use and charges via USB Type-C.
