In 1987 Snugpak introduced Softie insulation – a proprietary synthetic polyester fibre that delivers down-like warmth with one crucial advantage: it insulates even when wet. While down loses its loft in damp conditions, Softie retains its thermal efficiency. This characteristic makes Snugpak products the preferred companion in humid and unpredictable climates – from the British moors to the tropical jungle.
