Snugpak's Softie Elite 1 sleeping bag features an EPS (Expand Panel System) expansion system that allows the sleeping bag to be customized to the user's needs. The EPS system allows the Snugpak Elite 1 to be adjusted in width, allowing the temperature to be regulated. When the sleeping bag is opened by means of EPS, this provides maximum freedom of movement, when closed, the body heat is trapped, ideal in cooler temperatures.

Mummy sleeping bag Elite 1 provides optimal thermal properties and good comfort. A well-adjustable hood, adjustable length, reinforced foot area, full-length 2-way zipper, are just a few features offered by the Snugpak Softie Elite 1.

The synthetic Softie® filling (polyester) from the Elite 1 sleeping bag is made of superfine yarns bonded with special resins. The fill gives the Elite 1 a luxurious down-like feel. Randomly placed, fine filament fibers create additional voids to trap more warm air, while the Softie insulation has the same weight as standard insulation. Softie fill achieves natural-like insulation performance and retains most of its thermal properties even when wet.
