Kowa kept the proven optical system and instead reworked the handling throughout: new silicone eyecups, an improved grip pattern, a redesigned focus wheel and a lighter chassis. In the 32 mm format that yields a compact binocular 114 mm long, officially certified as wide angle to ISO 14132-2.
