1. General principles

Swiss-Sale.ch AG voluntarily grants its customers a right of return of 30 days from the shipping date. This right of return is not a legal obligation but a voluntary courtesy. There is no statutory right of return or withdrawal for online purchases in Switzerland.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer in all cases. Returns must be properly packaged and prepaid. Unfranked parcels will not be accepted.

Returns must be registered in advance via our contact form or by e-mail to . Please provide your order number, the item concerned and the reason for the return. Unregistered returns cannot be processed.

2. Unrestricted right of return

Completely unopened items in perfect condition will be accepted without further inspection. The purchase price will be refunded less an allowance equal to the original shipping costs, minimum CHF 10.00. This allowance covers the costs incurred for shipping and packaging materials.

Requirements

• The original packaging is completely unopened and externally intact
• The packaging is free of markings, stickers, adhesive residue or tears
• All labels, seals and protective films are intact
• The product is odour- and taste-neutral (no detectable storage in smoky, kitchen or cellar environments)

3. Conditional right of return

Opened but unused items in perfect condition will be accepted subject to a handling fee of 10% of the purchase price (minimum CHF 15.00, maximum the purchase price). This fee covers the cost of inspection, reconditioning and restocking.

Requirements

• The original packaging has been opened but is complete, undamaged and free of markings or stickers
• The item is unused and shows no signs of use (no scratches, abrasion, discolouration, fingerprints on optics)
• The complete scope of delivery including all accessories, instructions and inserts is present
• No registration, activation, pairing or installation has been carried out (e.g. app pairing, firmware activation, licence redemption)
• Knives and blades: visual inspection of the edge is permitted provided no grinding, cutting or contact marks are visible
• Clothing items (e.g. gloves, hats): trying on is permitted provided all labels are attached and the item shows no signs of wear or odour

4. Return subject to individual assessment

In certain cases, a return may be accepted following individual assessment by Swiss-Sale.ch AG. Acceptance is not guaranteed. The possibility of acceptance and the amount of any depreciation will be determined after inspection of the item. Any deduction is based on the condition of the item and the effort required to restore it to saleable condition.

Requirements for assessment

• The complete original packaging is present and in good condition
• The item shows no or only minimal signs of use
• The scope of delivery is complete
• Consumables are unopened (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, heat pads, fuels or comparable products)
• If a manufacturer-side registration has been carried out on a product (e.g. app pairing, serial number registration, cloud account linking), the return is handled exclusively under this category following individual assessment

5. No right of return

The following are generally excluded from returns:

5.1 Packaging and completeness

• Original packaging is missing or severely damaged
• Accessories, instructions or parts of the scope of delivery are missing

5.2 Hygiene and food contact

• Hygiene products such as socks, underwear, face masks or comparable items
• Insulated containers, drinking bottles and hydration systems once the packaging has been opened
• Products for food preparation or storage (e.g. outdoor stoves, cookware, cutlery, cups, pans, storage containers) once the packaging has been opened
• Food, beverages and dietary supplements

5.3 Consumables

• Opened consumables such as batteries, rechargeable batteries, heat pads, water filter cartridges, fuels, firewood, fire starters or comparable items

5.4 Software, licences and activation

• Physical software or licences with broken seals or opened packaging
• Items where a customer-side licence activation has been carried out (exception: products with manufacturer-side registration fall under category 4)

5.5 Custom-made and specially sourced items

• Items specially manufactured, engraved, configured or sourced at the customer’s request
• Non-standard items specifically ordered for the customer

5.6 Gift vouchers

• Physical gift cards and electronic online gift vouchers

6. Refund

Refunds are generally issued via the same payment method used for the order. In individual cases, the refund may be issued as a store voucher.

Processing takes place within 10 working days of receipt and inspection of the return. Swiss-Sale.ch AG reserves the right to withhold the refund until the goods have been received.

For orders paid by invoice, a corrected invoice or credit note will be issued.

7. Return procedure

1. Register the return via our contact form or by e-mail to . Please provide the order number, item number and reason for return.
2. Wait for confirmation from Swiss-Sale.ch AG. We will provide the return address and any relevant instructions.
3. Pack the item securely – ideally in the original shipping packaging. Do not apply additional markings or stickers directly to the product packaging.
4. Send the parcel prepaid to the address provided. Please keep the proof of postage.
5. The refund will be processed within 10 working days of receipt and inspection.

8. General notes

This return policy applies exclusively to orders placed via the online shop swiss-sale.ch. For warranty and guarantee claims (defective or incorrectly delivered goods), our General Terms and Conditions apply.

Swiss-Sale.ch AG reserves the right to amend this return policy at any time. The version valid at the time of the order applies.
