Do I need an underquilt for my hammock?

At temperatures below +15 °C, we recommend an underquilt like the Snugpak Under Blanket. A standard sleeping bag gets compressed under body weight and does not insulate sufficiently from below. The underquilt hangs freely beneath the hammock and retains its full insulation performance.

Which hammock is suitable for two people?

The Grand Canyon Bass Double is designed as a double hammock for two people. It offers sufficient width for comfortable side-by-side lying. For overnight stays as a pair, however, we recommend two separate hammocks for better sleep comfort.

How do I attach a hammock to trees?

Use the included suspension straps and wrap them around the tree trunk. The ideal attachment height is approx. 1.5 m. Ensure the trees are sturdy enough (at least 15 cm trunk diameter) and use wide straps to protect the bark.

What is the difference between Snugpak Jungle and Tropical?

Both hammocks have an integrated mosquito net. The Tropical Hammock additionally includes an integrated rain fly (tarp), so no separate rain cover is needed. The Jungle Hammock is lighter and more compact but requires a separate tarp in rain.
