The sharp optics are fully multi-coated and feature the new EXO barrier coating, which reliably protects the lenses from the elements. PC-3 phase coating improves resolution and increases contrast.
The Bushnell Binocular Nitro is 100% waterproof, fogproof, and features a compact, lightweight, and rugged body to ensure the binoculars perform reliably in extreme conditions.
ED Prime Glass
Extra-low dispersion ED fluorite glass provides exceptional color fidelity and contrast, eliminating nearly all chromatic aberration and color overshadowing to bring out the sharpest details in adverse lighting conditions.
PC-3 Phase Coating (P3C)
Bushnell Nitro binoculars feature PC-3 phase coating, a chemical coating applied to the prisms for better resolution and higher contrast.
EXO coating
The EXO barrier coating reliably protects the lenses from the elements and repels water, fog oil, dust and dirt. Without this coating, something significant is missing. A wet lens or moisture from the breath causes conventional lenses to fog up and this hinders vision enormously. The patented, permanent, water-repellent EXO coating prevents moisture from settling due to snow, rain, sleet or condensation, allowing less light to pass through. The EXO coating provides clear and bright images.
Waterproof Construction (IPX7)
The Bushnell Nitro binoculars are completely waterproof, allowing use in adverse weather conditions, whether it's rain, snow or fog. The IPX7 rating means that the Nitro binoculars have undergone rigorous testing to withstand extreme weather conditions. Even a 30-minute immersion in water of 1 meter depth withstands the Bushnell Nitro.
