The Alden 5.0 M is self-inflating and filled with a high-quality foam (16kg/m³) that provides excellent thermal insulation against the cold from the ground. The R-value of 3.7 ensures a comfortable thermal performance.
The top of the insulation mat is made of 100% polyester with a 30D 2-way stretch construction in an attractive Sandshell color. The underside is also made of 100% polyester and features a 30D 4-way stretch construction with TPU coating in the intriguing color Reflecting Pond. The noise-reducing stretch fabric ensures undisturbed sleep without crackling sounds.
The Alden 5.0 M insulating mat measures 183 cm in length, 66 cm in width and 5 cm in height. With a total weight of only 1440 g and a pack size of 13 cm in diameter and 68 cm in length, it is lightweight and easy to transport. The included zippered stuff sack with carrying handles makes it easy to stow and transport.
