Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW - small and ultra-light 1-person
The ultralight Lofoten 1 ULW from Nordisk is a multi-award winning 1-person race tent. The Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW meets the requirements for a reliable and robust shelter. It can be set up in no time, carried along without really noticing and it even fits in the bottle pocket of your race waistcoat.
With a minimum weight of 490 g, the Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW is one of the lightest 1-person tents with two layers in the world - but packed it is definitely the smallest.
The secret is a newly developed aluminium pole with ultra-short segments, resulting in a pack size of only 11 x 22 cm when uncompressed. The Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW uses a new type of fabric (Nortech T-NY 7D) weighing just 26g/m² with a thread count of 580. The fabric has a triple silicone coating on each side, giving the Lofoten 1 ULW high durability, good water repellency and, thanks to the new Nordisk Flex-Rope Suspension System, flexibility and strength.
The Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW is designed for ultralight bikepacking, trekking or multi-day races. It will be difficult to find a better shelter that is lighter and smaller. By swapping the inner cabin, the Lofoten can be converted from a 1-person to a 2-person tent, increasing the overall weight by only 10 grams. The corresponding inner tent is sold separately.
TIP: The Nordisk Lofoten 1 ULW can be converted from a 1-person to a 2-person tent by simply replacing the inner tent. This increases the total weight by just 10 grams.
