Blade made of D2 tool steel
The blade with PVD coating is made of German D2 tool steel (1.2379), which is very robust and resistant, yet can be easily resharpened. The blade opens and closes as soft as butter thanks to micro ball bearings. The blade can be opened with a large flipper. When open, the blade is secured by a lock.

G10 knife handle
The handle is made of a sturdy steel liner with G10 grip shells, a composite material of fibreglass mats and synthetic resin. Thanks to the light texturing and the finger recesses in the handle, the Amare Coloso sits perfectly and securely in the hand.
