Snugpak Stratosphere - waterproof 1 person bivy tent

The Snugpak Stratosphere is a bivy sack in the form of a small 1-person tent. The design is small and lightweight and offers about the same feature set as a standard tent. With a sleeping space size of 220 x 80, the Snugpak Stratosphere is generously designed and offers plenty of freedom of movement. In the head and shoulder area, aluminum poles provide plenty of room for fresh air to circulate, which is controlled by a mosquito net in the head area of the Stratosphere that cannot be seen.

A side zipper provides easy entry and exit. The Stratosphere bivy tent packs in the included compression sack and weighs just over 1 kg combined (including pegs, poles), making the Stratosphere the ideal tent alternative. The Stratosphere bivy tent is ideal for stealth camping and offers all-around visibility.

Leichter, robuster Biwaksack mit Gestänge
Meiner Meinung nach ist das Snugpack Stratosphere ein kompaktes, leichtes, robustes und in allen Situationen brauchbares Einmann-Zelt. Ich habe es nun schon zweimal zum Biwakieren im Alpenraum benutzt, und bin bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Der Aufbau verläuft sehr zügig, bei Übung benötigt man nicht mehr als 5 Minuten. Im Inneren bietet das Snugpack wenig Überraschendes. Es verfügt jedoch über einen zweiten Reissverschluss mit Mückennetz, was ich sehr gut finde. Die Kondensation hält sich auch im Rahmen, da es aber eine Art Biwaksack ist, bleibt Kondensation immer ein Problem. Wasserdicht war es bis jetzt auch! Alles in allem ein guter Biwaksack mit Gestänge. Der Preis ist auch in Ordnung, vor allem im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Produkten wie z.B. dem Carinthia Observer (über 700CHF).
